If you’ve made it to Panama, you have found yourself in the last country in North America! The Pan American Expressway famously takes those willing to travel this road from Prudhoe Bay in Northern Alaska down to Ushuaia, Argentina. The road(s) is fully drivable until reaching the Darian Gap, right here in Panama. Due to the lushness of the area, it’s impossible to continue your journey on pavement and you have to catch a ferry to Colombia. Panama, of course,

is known for way more than the famous highway or the canal. Visiting Panama City, for example, is like taking a trip back in time and in the future as well, as Old Town Panama City construction meets advanced new-age buildings. The country is a hub of bio-diversity, has 100’s of islands to her name and is home to some of the best surfing in all of the Americas. They also accept the US dollar, making travel there just one step easier.

"Having booked with The Escape Artist multiple times (Peru, Costa Rica, Kenya, Galapagos Islands) I knew that I wanted them to work with my girlfriends Mom on a family trip to Greece. John and Katie met us all out to go over the goals of the trip, like always. They built us a package based on our likes and dislikes, and they nailed it! Best part, mid trip wanted to alter our vacation a bit and spend more time in Mykonos. A simple email directly to them and everything was solved! They are fun to work with, but also amazing at what they do! Highly recommend giving them a shot!"
